Privacy
Last updated September 27, 2026
Short version: we don't have accounts and we don't store anything about you on our servers. Google Analytics sets cookies to count visits; the only cookie we set ourselves remembers your light or dark theme.
What we collect
We use Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. It sets cookies that give your browser a random identifier, so repeat visits can be told apart, and records the page you visited, the referring page, your browser and device type, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and the time. Google handles this data under its privacy policy; you can block it with Google's opt-out add-on or any tracker blocker. We don't collect names, email addresses or anything you type.
Cookies
Besides Google Analytics' cookies, we set one cookie, theme, when you use the light/dark toggle in the footer. It holds only "light" or "dark" and is never sent anywhere but this site.
Server logs
Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent) for a short period to diagnose problems and abuse, then discards them. We don't build profiles from them.
If you write to [email protected] we keep your message so we can reply. We don't add you to any list.
Third parties
Links to federalreserve.gov and other sites are governed by those sites' own policies. We don't sell or share data with anyone other than the analytics provider named above.
Changes
If this changes we'll update the date at the top of this page.
